Still during the month of November, Realme will officially present its new top smartphone GT 5 Pro.
It is already known that the model will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest top processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and now confirmation has arrived that the model will also debut the Sony Lytia sensor.
Realme GT 5 Pro and OnePlus 12 will have the same primary sensor in their camera
The integration of the new Sony sensor in the Realme GT 5 Pro was announced by the smartphone brand itself through a new promotional poster about the model’s launch event.
The GT 5 Pro will have the same primary sensor as the OnePlus 12, however, its rear camera configuration will have less advanced technical specifications. Namely: the Realme model will feature the 50-megapixel Sony Lytia, an eight-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and a periscope sensor with 50 megapixels of resolution and 2.7x optical zoom.
The OnePlus 12 will feature the 50-megapixel Sony Lytia as the main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 64-megapixel periscope sensor with 3x optical zoom.
Realme GT 5 Pro breaks records on the AnTuTu platform
Meanwhile, the new Realme GT 5 Pro has also passed tests on the AnTuTu platform, in which it broke records. The model obtained a total score of 2,229,696 points on the well-known benchmarking platform.
With this score it managed to surpass its future rival OnePlus 12 which recorded a score of 2,110,808 points.
Both models are equipped with Qualcomm’s latest top processor. In the case of the Realme GT 5 Pro, this chip will be paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage capacity.
Furthermore, the model runs Android 14 under the Realme UI 5 interface and will be powered by a 5,400 mAh battery with support for 100-watt fast charging and 50-watt wireless charging.
